Founder & CEO
James has over 20 years of experience in finance, beginning on Wall Street as VP at Bank of America Securities, where he generated $8 million in annual sales. He later transitioned into consultancy, specializing in private equity and asset management. As a CFA Charterholder, James became CFO for SPBD – a microfinance network in the South Pacific. He launched and operated microfinance banks in Samoa, Tonga, Fiji, and the Solomon Islands. He also created a holding company based in Singapore, delivering 600% growth. Now, as the founder of Vanreusel Ventures, James leads a team of CFO consultants and financial analysts, helping startups, SMBs, and non-profits scale their businesses globally.

Boyu brings extensive analytical expertise to Vanreusel Ventures, honed during his 3-year career in equity research with Lion Raisins Corp, where he developed company and investment models to guide investor decisions. In nearly 5 years at Vanreusel Ventures, Boyu has specialized in FP&A, financial modeling, trend analysis, and data management, playing a key role in scaling both for-profit and nonprofit organizations.

Jeannette is a seasoned accounting professional with over 20 years of experience in both for-profit and non-profit sectors. She has extensive expertise in all facets of accounting, including general ledger, cash flow, budgeting, and financial reporting. Jeannette has successfully managed over 15 audits and has a strong track record in software conversions and resolving complex account reconciliations. Her talent for operational troubleshooting and problem-solving makes her a valuable asset to any team.
